Of course everyone has been usieng Site Maps forever. The xml format for Google and the text file of url's for Yahoo and an html format for all the rest. Well.... Yahoo and MSN are supossed to be supporting the XML format but I am still reccomending to my customers to put in the text file listing also and an html version for your visitors.
My biggest problem always was that I had a php/sql/cgi based sitemapping program but it only formated in the XML format. Also it ran server wide and not all servers supported the calls and commands it made. For me it worked fine but for some customers it just wouldn't run on their servers.
Well I was doing some searching and found what I think is the best Site Map Maker out there.... no I am not an affiliate of their site and I do not believe they even have a program but I should email them to see. It is called A1 Site Map Generator and it is pretty amazing. It runs in a windows enviorment and lets you create all 3 formats of maps.
You put in the url and it will spider it and then you tell it which maps you want created. They have a 30 day trial on it that is a full version of the software. Their website is located at: http://www.micro-sys.dk/. The other neat feature is that I have used it on stites of over 90k pages and even though it takes a long time to run it does run and creates the maps. The only thing it doesn't do as far as I have seen is split up the maps to groups of urls less then 50k. If your site is larger then 50k pages you will need to manually split the site in your text processor.

One of the oldest and most respected web sites out there. It has a huge following with the Gothic crowd. Lots of hits but I have left it set dormant for close to 2 years. The existing site is included with the name. I will zip up the site and email it to the buyer.

This has a great name that will be well rememberd no matter what site you put there. It would be great for a pic post site. Am I Foxxii?

Another old site that is really in with the biker and harley crowd. The site is included in the sale price and once again I will zip up the site for you. .
